Events

We're packing up and heading home. Last night there were many burnt marshmallows and terrorized bunnies. Today, we hope for BBQ brisket in Ripon, Wis., and a quick stop at Mars Cheese Castle just before we hit the Illinois line.

It's really nice up here in the middle of Wisconsin 9 km from the nearest expressway. After the sun set, the wind almost completely stopped, making the lake into a mirror:

Cassie and I are spending the weekend with friends in a cabin by a lake in central Wisconsin. We're going to get oriented right now, and then begin doing nothing in earnest. My friends are about 90 minutes away, so it's time for a walk around the neighborhood.
