FantasyFictionSci-fiStarted at Millbrae Caltrain station. Wikipedia article. Book 1 of 5.
I'm in the Bay Area seeing family and friends, which means lots of time on Caltrain up and down the peninsula but not a lot of time in the city.
This may be a new record: I got from the CTA Blue Line platform to the Admirals Club in 11 minutes. I'm quite pleased. And I have the TSA to thank, by enrolling me in Touchless ID program the last time I flew. I just walked up to the camera, the agent pressed a button, and then she said "Have a nice flight."
I'm getting ready to travel, so all you're getting this morning is a photo of Butters from Sunday:
Still pleasant weather
As promised, Cassie got lots of walks yesterday: 10.4 km in three walks over two hours. Plus she got lots of outdoor time between the walks. Dining Out When decanting wine, make sure that you tilt the paper cup, and pour slowly so as not to "bruise" the fruit of the wine. If drinking directly from...
Visitor Meade Skelton Haufe, annoyed that myths about Southern Americans continue to propagate through the Internet, got even with us. He wrote: As a True Southerner I am extremely offended by your trite and slanderous humor against the Southern people. What kind of ignorant dribble is this? The imperialistic Yankee-ized massed media shoves this down our throats time and time again. We are told to get rid of our Southern "accents" no matter how proper our English is and no matter how well eduacted we...
